REVIEW: "The music is AWESOME, the voice anointed, and the lyrics healing! Charles promises to take our souls to the laundry-mat and that he does. The cd takes gospel music to a whole new level. The music is real. I have never heard an artist be so honest about the trials and tribulations that they are going through or have been through. It's not only healing but it('s) soulful and very powerful. Charles is a very talented writer, producer, musician and singer. Watch out Charles cause God is about to pour out some blessings that you will not have room enough to receive!!!!..."

About the Artist: "Charles Smith Jr. is a talented songwriter, producer, singer and musician who began his music career opening up for major acts around Baltimore City. By the age of 17 he had already performed at the World Famous Apollo Theatre in New York City. Growing up in the church, he was heavily influenced by gospel music but found the urban sounds of Hip Hop and R&B irresistible. After high school, Charles began to go places like New York, New Jersey and Canada making a name for himself as a songwriter and as a demo singer.

Charles got his first placement with Intern'l Recording Artist 4 PM’s “A Light In The Dark” Cd in 1997. While continuing to write and place songs, he signed a publishing deal, which landed him in (L. A.) "

Charles Smith, Jr.

Though he learned and grew a lot as a writer and producer by May of 2003 the opportunity ended and Charles returned to Md.

Since then, Charles has worked with an array of artist, writers and producers. Such as Giuliano Franco, Darryl Pearson, Brian Angel (Day 26), Dwayne Watkins (Canton Spirituals) and Kim Waters just to name a few. MORE...
